Description
ASARCO LLC seeks a Warehouse Manager for its Sahuarita, AZ location to oversee receiving, issuing, putting away, order and cleanliness, long-term storage, and delivery of all materials required by Maintenance & Operations at the 4 sites, implementing industry best practices. Supervise the material master data management to have a clear and organized catalog.
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Supply Chain, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Warehouse Planner or a supply-chain-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
- Continuous improvement projects and methodologies to optimize processes.
- Analyzing and managing warehouse processes using SAP MM for the complete materials cycle end to end, SAP PM for work orders correct allocation and creation, and SAP budget tracking.
- Data visualization tools including Power BI to provide insights and improve business performance.
- Optimizing inventory levels using Material requirements Planning (MRP) for data-based modeling.
- Implementing continuous improvement methodologies, including SCRUM, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean methods.
- Data management using SPHERA for materials creation, Jira for revisions and approval of material requests, and Power BI for the tracking and KPI follow up.
- Monthly revision of inventory increases/decreases considering different variables to explain upper-level root cause and establish action plans.
- Business case elaboration and alignment with proper ROI analysis.
Position requires 25% domestic travel. Various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
